Heesoo Kim (김희수 金希帥 キム ヒス)
Heesoo Kim is a metal artist who creates objects and jewelry inspired by the motif of thread. She uses metal threads for wrapping, stitching, and weaving, which imbue her works with a unique warmth and softness. In her art, metal thread serves not merely as a connection technique, but as a medium for expressing emotional healing.
She earned B.F.A. and M.F.A. from Seoul National University in South Korea. After completing her Ph.D studies at Tokyo University of the Arts in 2025, she has been actively creating and exhibiting her work in Japan, while also participating in various international projects.
